It always happens when I'm away from a computer keyboard for more than a week: I come back with a slew of new ideas to toy with, nevermind that I have twenty plus stories unfinished
Here are just a few ideas I'm putting down just to get them out of my head for a little while.

Pairing: Temari/Naruto, small aside of Shikamaru/Hinata
Plot Summary: Slightly AU as of chapter 408/409. Instead of training with toads, Naruto is left a strange scroll from Jiraya-sp- instructing him to go to Suna. At the same time, Temari gets a similar scroll requesting she take on the Toad Sage's pupil. Naruto isn't too thrilled about this trip, and Temari doesn't want to waste her time teaching a 'kid' about Wind chakra. And Shikamaru...he's just along for the ride since he still needs to pick Naruto's brain to decphier Jiraya's code. Meanwhile, Hinata is in Konoha taking Shikamaru's 'job'-- as per his request- of stalking Kurenai, much to the woman's dismay.

Plot Summary: AU/Modern Day. As a kid, Chouji grew up wanting to become a world-renown Chef. But life doesn't always follow human script: A down-and-out dishwasher for years, Chouji winds up fired as the resturant closes down.

Depressed, Chouji heads home, only to come across a small- and new- pastry shop owned by a young woman named Hinata. She seems to embody everything he wanted to be: a great cook/baker and shop owner; but even at first impression, Chouji senses Hinata is just as unhappy with her sucess as he is with his disapointments.
